DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Purpose

  • To plan, coordinate, and oversee production operations.
  • To ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing while consistently meeting quality and delivery targets.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Manage overall daily production operations to ensure output aligns with organizational goals, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage production budgets, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement robust preventative maintenance programs for all production machinery.
  • Monitor raw material inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure a steady supply chain.
  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of production staff, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify training needs and oversee the professional development of the production leadership pipeline.
  • Facilitate high-level communication between production and other departments like Finance, Procurement, and Maintenance.
  • Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies to optimize workflows.
  • Use Kaizen principles to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
  • Prepare regular reports on production performance, analyzing key metrics such as output, yield, and efficiency.
  • Assist in implementing new technologies and automation where necessary.
  • Ensure total organizational compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee the implementation of robust quality management systems to minimize defects across the plant.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification, Experience and Key skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in production management within a CKD/SKD manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience leading Lean Manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in production management software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities to monitor performance metrics.
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate large, diverse teams.
  • Solid knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, focusing on root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing safety protocols, quality management systems, and environmental regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Hotpoint Appliances Limited has an exciting career opportunity in the Export Sales Department. We are seeking for talented, dynamic, self-driven and results oriented individual who is committed to excellent performance and participating in our growth strategy.

Job Purpose

  • The role is responsible for the export product portfolio and order planning for Hotpoint’s export customers.
  • The role is responsible for ensuring each export market has the right assortment, pricing, promotional support and training, driven by disciplined PSI and inventory analytics
  • The role proposes customer orders (SKU mix and quantities) based on sales movement, stock positions and country lineup strategy, and ensures availability through proactive coordination with the bonded warehouse and internal teams

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Build and maintain an export assortment plan per customer/country (category mix, price ladder, hero SKUs and phase-in/phase-out plans).
  • Work closely with internal Category Product Managers to align on models, specifications, positioning and new product introductions.
  • Recommend range rationalization and expansion based on sell-out performance, margin contribution and market requirements.
  • Own export PSI discipline: maintain accurate sales, stock and forecast inputs and run a structured monthly PSI cadence for all export customers.
  • Track bonded warehouse stock availability by customer and SKU; flag stockout risks early and recommend allocations/priorities where shortages exist.
  • Maintain export price lists by customer/country and recommend adjustments based on FX, competitor moves, positioning and profitability guardrails.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking (in-market and online) and provide actionable insights to internal Product Managers and Export leadership.
  • Develop an export promotions calendar per customer/country, aligned to seasonality and commercial objectives.
  • Plan and deliver (or coordinate) product trainings for distributor teams: product features, comparisons, selling points and new model launches.
  • Visit export markets periodically to assess sell-out drivers, assortment fit, pricing, display quality and competitor activity.
  • Produce market visit reports with insights and recommended actions across lineup, pricing, promotions, training and quality.
  • Capture recurring product quality issues and coordinate resolution with Service/Quality teams and relevant Category Product Managers.
  • Support distributors with technical clarifications and ensure issues are tracked to closure with preventive actions
  • Introduce structured quarterly price lists for the exports division to provide price stability, predictability, and confidence for export customers.
  • Develop standardized price waterfalls for each export market to ensure full cost transparency and margin discipline.
  • Work on annual distributor contracts for the different countries - Move from transactional export relationships to annual contractual partnerships
  • Build tailored QLIK dashboards to provide real-time, actionable visibility for the exports department.
  • Run structured monthly alignment with Exports, Product, Warehouse/Operations and Finance; circulate actions, owners and timelines.
  • Any other duties assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification

  • Minimum qualification of a degree in business or any other relevant field.

Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in product/category management, commercial planning, or a related role (appliances/electronics preferred).
  • Strong analytical capability (PSI, inventory analysis, pricing, and demand planning concepts).
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable with ERP/BI tools and dashboard-driven management.
  • Willingness to travel to export markets regularly.
