DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Role Purpose:

  • Deliver a wide variety of purchased goods for customers.
  • Follow routes and time schedules.
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate the vehicle

Accountability:

  • Carefully drive organisation vehicles for the transport of authorised personnel, delivery of goods and collection/ dropping of documents and any other items while observing all traffic rules.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of staff and clients’ goods when transporting them to their destinations.
  • Responsible for the day to day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, checks oil, water, battery, brakes, tyres, etc., arrange for repairs with the Transport Officer and ensures that the vehicle is kept in clean condition at all times.
  • Maintain the vehicle logs for all trips, daily mileage, fuel consumption etc.
  • Ensure that daily, weekly checklists and delivery schedules are duly filled and handed in on time.
  • Assist the delivery team in loading and off-loading goods.
  • Assist the Installation team with lifting of equipment during installation at the clients place.
  • Ensure proper and high discipline while on the road.
  • Turn off and lock vehicle when not in use.
  • Report accidents and incidents with the vehicle.
  • Ensure the vehicle assigned to you has valid documentation (Insurance, Quality inspection, Branding licences distribution/single business permit) including your valid driving license.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by your Supervisor.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

  • Valid accident free driving licence class BCEF/G.
  • A minimum of KCSE Certificate with mean Grade of C plain or equivalent.
  • AA tested and approved.
  • Basic Mechanics, First Aid training and Defensive Driving certificate.
  • Medically fit.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years driving experience in a formal environment preferably service set up.
  • Good driving/riding record with no traffic violations.
  • Must be flexible and ready to work long hours from time to time depending on the assigned duties.
  • Should have a friendly and engaging personality
  • Must be confident, helpful and polite.
  • Should have good personal hygiene and be articulate.
  • Should be aged 28 years or above.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Role Purpose

  • Completes engineering projects by organising and controlling project elements for installation of HVAC systems commercial sites while ensuring compliance with safety standards and adherence to work schedules.
  • Prepares, schedules, coordinates and monitors the assigned engineering projects.
  • Monitors compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards & specification.
  • Interact with the clients to understand their needs and requirements and represent the same to the team.

Accountability

  • Develop and track all ongoing project schedule including loading for technician
  • Scheduling of all upcoming projects.
  • Calculate project cost and control the same.
  • Increase the profit margin of project by doing value engineering, properly using of labour and tools / equipment, on time supply of materials at site etc.
  • Keep track of equipment/tools, labour, materials sent to sites.
  • Keep track of work progress of all ongoing sites on daily basis and reporting to management on weekly basis.
  • Inspect the site on regular basis to check the progress of site, workmanship (quality of work) and safety.
  • Manage all site meetings with client of all ongoing project
  • Estimate changes in scope of work and submit necessary quotation to client.
  • Communicate with the client time to time for any deviation in scope of work, delay in project schedule due to accessibility of sites or lack of infrastructure from client end, delay of payment as per agreed contract etc.
  • Review the approved drawings and communicate the same to project engineers / technician.
  • Review the project contract and communicate the same to technician.
  • Follow up with customer / consultant / main contractor for drawing approval and approval to start work.
  • Handle all site related issues with customer / consultants / main contractors
  • Give material requisition to management based on project schedule (local and imported items) based on monthly/quarterly/half yearly basis.
  • Billing certification as per agreed contract on time and follow up with clients for timely payments.
  • Prepare handing over process and inform management to close jobs in system (Orion).
  • Any other duties as may be assigned to you by your Supervisor from time to time.

  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD/MS Project
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE regulations,best practises and project performance standards.
  • Experience in operational management of large-scale installations would be preferable.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC installation principles/practices required.
  • Experienced dealing with subcontracts or self-perform work.
  • Experience in leading successful project team, including development of employee and maintaining relationships with external parties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Job Purpose:

  • To assist in the development of the annual audit plan, schedule and execute audit engagements and other tasks as per the approved audit plan, review output of subordinates, perform audit work, and complete special projects as assigned. The role monitors the activity of subordinates ensuring that objectives are achieved and assigned tasks are completed on time. The role also supports the Internal Audit Manager in handling the administrative issues of the internal audit function, including audit recommendation follow-up & status update as well as deputizing the internal audit manager.

Job Responsibility and Accountability:

  • Assist in the development and/or execution of the annual audit plan, department budget, staff training requirements, and innovation initiatives.
  • Performance of internal audit reviews, to include preliminary survey, development of audit program, performance of field work, reporting, follow-up, and work-paper review as designed by Internal Audit Manager.
  • Conducting performance reviews of subordinate staffs in the internal audit department.
  • Overseeing & reviewing the work performed by subordinate and/or peers and resolving issues that fall outside of normal procedures.
  • Following up on the audit recommendation to ensure all are implemented and generating monthly reports on pending audit findings.
  • Evaluating internal processes and controls, and preparing audit reports with value-added recommendations to Internal Audit Manager.
  • Performing risk assessment and audit planning process.
  • Participate in management meetings by preparing presentation material, presenting information, and/or providing relevant feedback to attendees.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or its equivalent.
  • Membership of a recognised professional accountancy body (e.g. IIA, CISA, CFA, CPA or ACCA)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience of working in the Internal Audit environment/ Accounting/ Audit Firm.
  • Must have served at least 2 years in a supervisory role managing at least 2 staff.
  • Excellent IT audit skills e.g. use of CAATs
