DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Job Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to push sales and offer admin support to the key accounts in Mombasa.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Achieving No 1 market share in key categories & meeting sales targets where applicable.
  • Ensuring all FMS models are on shelves. Depending on the branch, FMS stock is pre-determined.
  • Maintain Head office and /branch manager level relationships to ensure support can be accorded
  • Opening of codes on new products.
  • To ensure current line-up is the only line-up on shelves - EOL models to be liquidated within 2 months of being
    discontinued.
  • Requisition - LPO - invoice - delivery - display.
  • Golden zone displays and systematic display ensuring brand visibility and prominence.
  • Ensuring no.1 or no.2 shelf space based on category and brand.
  • Ensure codes list is always updated - EOL models removed, OS models removed, new models included.
  • Ensuring any promotions are implemented on time, shelf tags re-printed, POP's delivered to branches.
  • Ensuring tracking book is used and service issues sorted out within 7 days.
  • Submitting weekly/monthly reports on various aspects of a product an competitor information.
  • Implementation on time, Opening/closing stock, all the way up to credit note being passed and sending copy to
    the dealer.
  • Training of all FSM on key USP - 5 USP per product should be known for all categories. Self-explanatory.
  • Growing representation and range based on outlet capability and competitor range.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualification:

  • A Bachelors or Diploma in Sales & Marketing or related field.
  • 5 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing, 2 of which should be in Key Account management. • Strong Sales skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High sense of urgency.
  • Good networking skills.
  • Good problem solving skills.

Job title: Export Assistant Clerk
Department: Imports, Exports and Bonded Warehouse
Reporting to: Import/Exports & Bonded Warehouse Officer
Job Location: HQ - Ruiru

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Job Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to document, prepare and export coordination with concerned agencies such as customs and relevant government agencies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Open all export files once the order is received from the client.
  • Apply for IDF, marine cover and KEBS note manually and online. Prepare export invoices in Orion.
  • Maintain up to date export stock list.
  • Split export documents and send to loading destination.
  • Proof read all documents relating to exports.
  • Ensure collection of export documents.
  • Maintain export data and verify information accuracy.
  • Photocopy, scan and file documents correctly in each file.
  • Organise to send documents to Bond and Warehouse as soon as it’s ready.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping of export files i.e. ensure all data relating to exports is available.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Critical Knowledge, skills & Experience:
  • Diploma in Clearing & Forwarding, Supply chain or Logistics or any other relevant field.
  • Knowledge in imports, export processes
  • Computer literacy in MS office and logistics software.
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Good Report writing skills.
  • Ability to meet strict reporting deadlines and working under minimal supervision.
