DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Hotpoint Appliances Limited has an exciting career opportunity in the Marketing Department. We are seeking

for talented, dynamic, self-driven and results-oriented individual who is committed to excellent performance and

participating in our growth strategy.

Job Purpose

  • To conceptualize and execute designs for all forms of branding and marketing content to the highest professional standards within set deadlines through comprehensive knowledge of all relevant graphic design tools, in addition to working alongside, supporting and guiding the creative design team to deliver elevated levels of creativity and quality in ideation, design, and execution across all branding and marketing related tasks.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Designing all forms of branding and marketing content using graphic design tools including design and editing software, including (but not limited) colour and font selection, photo and video editing, layouts, graphics, icons, logos and other design requirements to communicate creative concepts and messaging
  • Work in collaboration with the rest of the marketing team to offer and develop ideas, concepts, strategies and proposals for marketing campaigns and activities that will drive company sales and build the brand across all marketing channels
  • Ensure full understanding and utilization of the Trello project management platform for all tasks
  • Conceptualizing and executing design concepts that elevate creative output and push boundaries of creative thinking and design in the execution of brand and marketing presentation
  • Ensure creation of all branding and marketing communication is effectively executed and optimized for all required marketing platforms, and completed within set timelines
  • Work with the design team to conceptualize and design all forms of marketing communication effective for all digital platforms as well as retail outlets and wholesale market
  • Taking a leading role in improving the quality of design work and ideas for branding and marketing communication and supporting and guiding the other designers to learn, develop and execute elevated standards of design output
  • Keep up-to-date with current design trends, global and local, and undertake monthly research on competitor branding and marketing communication
  • Be a custodian and protector of brand standards across all brand touchpoints and ensure all branding and marketing presentations consistently meet the set standards and guidelines without exception
  • Teach, guide and mentor new and junior designers within the company to support their growth and development as designers and as employees representing and delivering the Hotpoint culture and values
  • Lead by example in living the Hotpoint culture and values and be driven and ambitious to achieve personal growth and growth for the company
  • Learn, read and expand your understanding of branding and marketing to develop a broader and deeper knowledge base and keep knowledge relevant and up-to-date

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification

  • Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design/ Fine Art or any related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient expertise in Adobe illustrator, after effects, premiere pro, InDesign, photoshop, & other relevant Adobe programs
  • Strong graphic design and video editing portfolio with clear evidence of a broad range and variety of design work.

Job title: Customer Service Intern
Department: Service Centre

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Hotpoint Appliances Limited is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Customer Service Intern who is committed to excellent performance and will support the department’s daily activities.

Job Responsibilities and Accountability

  • Job Card opened and printed within 24 Hours of receipt from customers or dealers.
  • Capture full and correct serial numbers for carry-in at the point of receipt.
  • Update full and correct serial numbers for In-Home after technical visit.
  • Full and correct unit checklist details including all accessories and their condition for carry-in.

Communication to Customer

  • Send emails, SMS or telephone updates for quotations within 48 hours of status change to quotation by technicians.
  • Send emails, SMS or telephone updates for ready units within 24 hours of status change to ready by the technician for carry-in.
  • Same day escalation to the Branch Manager on a daily log sheet of complaints from customers either via email, telephone or face-to-face.
  • Happy Call within 48 Hours for all In-Homes for all ready units.
  • In-home dispatcher to ensure all rebooks are communicated to the customer 24 hours before the scheduled date including all emergency events scheduled for a specific technician.

Operations

  • Credit notes, with all correct documentation within 72 Hours of receipt from customers.
  • Delivery notes are printed, within 24 hours after conversion to ready.
  • Handling of dealer accounts, follow-up for repair to be completed within 48 hours for parts available and quotations closed within 15 days.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Business Management, Public Relations, Customer Service or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications.
  • Detail-oriented and good follow-up skills.
  • At least one year experience in Customer Service will be an added advantage.
