I ordered for an LG Home Theater referenced above. On delivery, the item is not what we ordered for. When the staff who delivered the item assembled it, the HT did not work. We could barely hear the woofer. The mid range speakers are very noisy. We were still made to pay, and buy an extra cable that he said was needed. He left us with a non-functioning machine. On further introspection of the machine, the item is not what we ordered for; it had been exchanged for a lower quality machine. The 5 pieces and sub-woofer do not have the LG logo. We suspect that someone traded it, either at the warehouse or on the way here. If this is the case then this is very practice. We have been trying to engage the office for assistance and we are getting is despicable customer service, lots of lies, etc. I think Hotpoint want us to get stuck with a non-functioning item, yet they received our money. What do we do?
